Her clinical focus includes working with patients suffering from conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD, OCD, and panic disorders. She has experience working across various age groups and strives to provide a non-judgmental environment to help clients remove obstacles and reach their full potential.

Your First Session

The first session primarily serves as a psychiatric evaluation and intake assessment, combining evaluation with some initial therapeutic conversation.

Why I Became a Therapist

My passion for psychiatric mental health care began at a young age, when I took care of my grandmother, who suffered from dementia. That experience planted a seed — I entered nursing already knowing that psychiatry was where I was meant to be. As a nurse working in a mental health hospital, that calling was confirmed. I witnessed firsthand how many patients felt unheard by their providers, sharing that their psychiatrist rarely had time to truly listen or explain their diagnosis, medication options, or how to manage side effects. I knew I wanted to be a different kind of provider. Today, education and partnership are at the core of everything I do — I take the time to ensure my patients and their families truly understand their condition and care plan. What drives me every day is witnessing the transformation that happens when someone goes from feeling their worst to feeling empowered and in control of their mental health. That journey never gets old.

When I'm Not in the Office

Outside of work, I enjoy cooking at home, traveling, and—believe it or not—playing soccer! I started playing the sport in elementary school and have continued to play ever since; I still hold my own on the field. Dancing is another passion of mine, and when I need to recharge, you can often find me curled up with a good TV show or an engaging real-life documentary. My faith serves as the foundation for everything I do, and spending quality time with my family is what truly fulfills me. I bring that same sense of joy and energy into my work with every patient I meet.
